"I Like" is a song by American R&B singer Keri Hilson. It was written and produced by German musicians David Jost and Robin Grubert and recorded by Hilson for the soundtrack for the German film Zweiohrküken (2009). The track will be featured on a re-released I Like Edition of Hilson's 2009 studio album In a Perfect World....[1] It has debuted at Number 1 on the official German Top 100 Singles chart and was certified Gold after only a month, for selling over an estimated 150.000 copies. After the big success in Germany, the song entered many charts in Mainland Europe.

Commercial use

In April 2010, The song was used in a commercial for the broadcasting of U.S. show 90210 on the UK channel E4.[citation needed]

Music video

The music video for "I Like" was shot in October 2009 by Aaron Platt.[2] It premiered online on November 20, 2009, and shows Hilson dancing in front of different scenes, featuring incorporated clips from the Zweiohrküken film. Later, on December 24, 2009 it premiered another version of the video, the main difference was that the video didn't feature incorporated clips from the Zweiohrküken film.

Chart performance

On 21 December 2009 Media Control announced that the single had debuted at number 1 in the German Singles Chart.[3] It is to date her most successful single in Germany, peaking at number 1 for three non-consecutive weeks. It was certified Platinum in Germany, selling over 300,000 copies. The single debuted on the UK Singles Chart at number 68 on 23 May 2010, it has since climbed to number 34 it has now dropped off the UK Singles Chart
