This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.cifiaonline.com/shaikhasedullahquadri.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. Speedy deletion nomination of Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri
A tag has been placed on Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. - Hi Guide99. Thanks for your submission at Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri - I notice you contest the deletion of the page, but removed the speedy deletion tag at the same time. Because you created the page, you must not remove the original tags at the same time as you place the {{hangon}}. I've had to put the original tag back, but as you've contested deletion, it will be down to an administrator to decide what happens. Sorry for the inconvenience, and I hope you understand. Speedy deletion nomination of Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri
A tag has been placed on Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. It's not enough for the copyright holder to release his material just for use on Wikipedia. Instead, he must release the material for the entire world to use. We do not use material that retains its copyright, because we allow anyone else to re-use our material for any purpose.
You can release the material by entering it into the public domain, or by releasing it under the Creative Commons Attribution/Share-Alike License (CC-BY-SA), which amounts to basically the same thing. If you do this, anyone may use the material for any reason, including attacks on Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri.
Are you sure you want to do this?
If for some odd reason you do, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more details. Basically, the usual way to do this is to add the following message to your web site:
- The text of this website is available for modification and reuse under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-Sharealike 3.0 Unported License and the GNU Free Documentation License (unversioned, with no invariant sections, front-cover texts, or back-cover texts).
I strongly suggest that, instead, you rewrite the article in your own words. Herostratus (talk) 13:24, 11 June 2010 (UTC)
Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri has written to Wikipedia the following letter today again.
To:permissions-en@wikimedia (dot) org Date 28.6.2010
Dear Gentlemen:
I, Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri have authorized 'Habib", (User ID Guide99 Wikipedia) and to Wikipedia to use the contents at page http://www.correctislamicfaith.com/abouttheshaikh.htm.
This is my third letter to Wikipedia. I don't know what is going on in Wikipedia. There does not seem to be an organized system in your organization. Mr. Habib complaints that his page is deleted in spite of written permissions.
SHAIKH MIR ASEDULLAH QUADRI OWNER www.correctislamicfaith.com www.cifiaonline.com
Since the Shaikh has permitted to use the entire page in free domain, I hope Wikipedia will publish my page as soon as possible.

Copyright problem: Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. This article appears to be a copy from http://www.correctislamicfaith.com/abouttheshaikh.htm, and therefore a copyright violation. The copyrighted text has been or will soon be deleted. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators are liable to be blocked from editing.
If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under allowance license, then you should do one of the following:
- If you have permission from the author to release the text under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License (CC-BY-SA), leave a message explaining the details at Talk:Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri and send an email with confirmation of permission to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". Make sure you quote the exact page name, Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri, in your email. See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
- If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted "under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License (CC-BY-SA), version 3.0, or that the material is released into the public domain leave a note at Talk:Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri with a link to where we can find that note.
- If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License and GNU Free Documentation License, and note that you have done so on Talk:Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for instructions.
It may also be necessary for the text be modified to have an encyclopedic tone and to follow Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
If you would like to begin working on a new version of the article you may do so at this temporary page. Leave a note at Talk:Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri saying you have done so and an administrator will move the new article into place once the issue is resolved. Thank you, and please feel welcome to continue contributing to Wikipedia. Happy editing! TRANSPORTERMAN (TALK) 13:43, 11 June 2010 (UTC)
Update regarding copyright concern
Since we do not yet have verification of permission by the processes set out above and sufficient time has passed since the placement of the notice, the article has been deleted for copyright concerns. This deletion is not necessarily permanent. If you have already sent a letter to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the Creative Commons Attribution/Share-Alike License (CC-BY-SA) and GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) (if you are not the copyright holder or have co-authored the material, release under CC-BY-SA-compatible license alone is sufficient), the article will be restored when that letter is received and processed by the Wikimedia Communications committee. Likewise, if you have not yet sent a letter, you still may (or resend it, if you believe your original may have been lost), and the article will be restored when that letter is received and processed.
As Wikipedia does not require proof of identity on account creation, it is essential that we receive external proof of authorization in order to ensure that we remain compliant with US Copyright law. It is also essential that we verify that copyright holders understand the extent of the release they are authorizing, in that our licenses permit modification and reuse in any forum, even commercial publication, as long as authorship credit is maintained and future copies are compatibly licensed.
Please note that once permission is verified, the material may be evaluated and altered to meet Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Although we appreciate donations, we cannot guarantee that material donated will be retained.
Thank you. Moonriddengirl (talk) 16:41, 27 June 2010 (UTC)
Naik as Salafi
Hi. If you want a source that says that Zakir Naik is a Salafi, see this: [1] . I have no idea how reliable the CIFIA is, however. Regards, Jeff5102 (talk) 10:38, 9 December 2010 (UTC)
Hello Guide99, I respectfully agree with Jeff5102. There is nothing wrong with stating that Zakir Naik is a Salafi if he is a Salafi, but there is something incorrect in making a statement about a person's faith without a reliable source. If you think the source mentioned by Jeff5102 is reliable (I'm unsure myself), why not add it?GorgeCustersSabre (talk) 17:35, 9 December 2010 (UTC)
Please add any reliable and reasonable source if you think it is objective evidence that Zakir Naik is a Salafi. I have no axe to grind. I am not for Salafis and I am not against Salafis. I am not for Naik and I am not against him. YOU need to provide evidence. I don't need to because this is not my assertion. It is yours. Telling me what a Salafi is does not constitute evidence that Naik is a Salafi. Wikipedia is not supposed to be based on new research, or personal judgements, but evidence. Thank you.GorgeCustersSabre (talk) 11:41, 11 December 2010 (UTC)
Genuine Dispute
There is a genuine dispute of edit on Dr. Zakir Naik's page. I explained above that it is in the best interest of (Wikipedia, Dr. Naik, and truthfulness of information) and neutrality that the edit is not reverted. I thought I was protecting the image of Wikipedia.
I would appreciate to be explained, answered properly and convinced, rather than silenced menacingly.
I have not "silenced" you, let alone with menance. See my comments above. But it is incumbent on you to provide reliable EVIDENCE. That's all. I wish you happiness and peace.GorgeCustersSabre (talk) 11:43, 11 December 2010 (UTC)

Neutral, 3rd party references needed for Mir Asedullah Quadri or it will be deleted
Greetings, I note your article Mir Asedullah Quadri has been deleted numerous times before, and it will happen yet again unless you provide neutral, 3rd party references proving his notability. This is especially important as he appears to be a living person, and per WP:BLP biographies of living people positively have to be footnoted. Footnotes to blogs, sectarian websites, or personal websites do not cout. What you need are footnotes to a news article from a reputable newspaper or book that is not necessarily a direct supporter of any religious/political movement associated with Quadri. We maintain these standards so that we get the objective story, rather than just the info that a partisan site or personal website wants to promote. Hope that's good enough to get you started; the article will go up for deletion yet again if such footnotes aren't added. MatthewVanitas (talk) 22:39, 13 December 2010 (UTC)
The article Mir Asedullah Quadri has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. --DAJF (talk) 06:17, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
It is not good to vandalize with Shaikh's Article
The works of Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri were highly acclaimed by Shaikh Deedat which he has referred to in his letters he wrote to the Shaikh from South Africa. This is totally an independent source.
Please see the scan copies of these letters placed on the following location of Shaikh's website. IPCI is not part of CIFIA. It is an independent Organization and the Head of the Organization Shaikh Deedat is recognizing the works of Shaikh.

- See my explanation on the article's talk page. Again, none of those sources meet WP:RS (reliable sources). Find us a major newspaper article, a scholarly book about Islam in Asia, and that will constitute at least basic proof of notability. Note however that this still would not mean "find one single external ref and then just re-dump direct quotes from CIFA itself all over the rest of the page." If you can't find at least one external ref, the article will be deleted again, and will be (much more promptly in the future) deleted if it is re-started without establishing WP:NOTABILITY. Either you can find mention of this man in the independent media, or you cannot. I have looked all over Google and cannot find a reliable, neutral source. MatthewVanitas (talk) 15:21, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
Your pathetic attitude and clear cut bullying
I had put a tag to contest the proposed deletion. You should have allowed it be seen and judged by some unbiased and neutral Administrators and then decide upon it. But, in the quickest haste, you removed the tag. You seem to have formed a biased group to bully people on Wikipedia and are using your leverage with Wikipedia wrongly, in a dictatorial manner.
Look into your conscience, you will know the truth.
I have provided outside references from many Islamic Institutions with physical addresses in the world about the Shaikh. They have appreciated his works on their official websites. Even one of such evidence is sufficient for Wikipedia while I have provided around 17.
In addition, I provided written evidence of Shaikh Deedat who is accepted by Wahhabis, Deobandis and Sunnis as an Islamic Scholar. He has appreciated Shaikh's work.
I provided appreciation of other sects, like Bhaiees (who are not related with Shaikh's work and preaching) Organization which they have put Shaikh's appreciation on their official website. They have physical address and phone numbers.
I provided evidences for American Management Association, British Institute of Management, Association of Business Executives of UK, where the Shaikh was member for many years. All these Institutions are real, physically existing and extremely popular in the world.
In spite of all these evidence, you think you can delete the Article. Alas, I do not understand what kind of logic you follow. I will indeed appeal against your arbitrary actions and I am sure I will get justice at Wikipedia. I know there are judicious people in Wikipedia who will sure disagree with what you are up to.
It is a good idea to convince people, rather than try to silence their voice by vandalism.
Guide99 (talk) 04:48, 18 December 2010 (UTC)--Guide99 (talk) 04:48, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
- Your continued accusations of vandalism, and complete refusal to actually respond constructively to advice from other editors or to acknowledge reading basic WP standards are wearing thin. I will continue to watch and maintain the article, but I will no longer respond to your accusations unless you display a willingness to engage in actual discussion. Throughout this entire process, you have not responded to any of the clear-cut explanations of how the article is lacking, but have instead basically argued the exact same assertions regardless of the detail with which they have been refuted.
- I have put out considerable effort to help you, running Google searches on all possible variants of Quadri's name and of CIFA trying to find reputable sources (I did not). I have also given you detailed advice on which WP policies to read to avoid this sort of mess. I have also given explicit explanations for why your "17 references" clearly do not meet the standards of WP:RS (blogs, sectarian sites, Facebook of all things). If you are not going to accept advice I'm not going to get emotionally invested in trying to help you. Have you not noticed that every editor you've run into, regardless of background or where you encountered them, has told you the exact same thing? Do you think this is conspiracy? Or perhaps consider that they're all taking into consideration the same basic Wikipedia procedures, and that is why their objections are so uniform. By all means, feel free to go to other Wikipedia noticeboards or admins; they will all tell you the same thing. If you continue to butt your head against the wall by refusing to take advice, you will continue to get the same result. If, however, you take an hour or less to familiarise yourself with basic Wikipedia guidelines, you can avoid this entire hassle for the rest of your time on Wikipedia. I honestly hope you do so. Please stop assuming ownership of articles such as Mir Asedullah Quadri. Doing so may lead to disruptive behavior such as edit wars and is a violation of policy, which may lead to your being blocked from editing Wikipedia. Demiurge1000 (talk) 06:58, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users who edit disruptively or refuse to collaborate with others may be blocked if they continue. In particular the three-revert rule states that making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block. If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the talk page to discuss controversial changes. Work towards wording and content that gains consensus among editors. If unsuccessful, then do not edit war even if you believe you are right. Post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 07:20, 18 December 2010 (UTC)

Request reason:
I did not mean to threat anyone, what I actually wrote was 'If you repeatedly delete Shaikh's Article, people will come to know about it - Which means - you may be doing it with a biased intention. I regret, if I sounded threatening to anyone. Indeed, I would like to use talk page to sort out the differences. Using threatening language, actually ends the argument. I am definitely against it. The whole issue is about an Article. I am giving here full Article of the Shaikh. It will be easier for you to see its references. Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri (الشيخ مير اسد الله قادري) is a Shaikh of Ahle Sunnah Wal Jama'a, Hanafi, known for his distinct explanations of Tawheed and Ilm-e-Sahih. Shaikh's distinct way of teaching shows his knowledge to be practical, rather than theoretical. This will be testified by millions of people who read his Articles on Internet and who hear him talk. His explanations are always authenticated by references from Quran and Ahadith. He explains most difficult and complicated issues with unique style of ease which keeps the listeners/ readers spell bound.
Decline reason:
You have misunderstood Wikipedia so badly and acted in such a hostile fashion towards your fellow Wikipedians that I do not believe you should be unblocked until you can demonstrate a clear understanding of the following important principles:
Any further unblock requests should address all these points. Beeblebrox (talk) 18:09, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- Guide99, do you also agree to stop calling editors vandals? Dougweller (talk) 10:54, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
- Why should I call anyone vandal. The only issue is about references on Shaikh's page. I have provided 36 solid references. My only concern is his page. Please restore this page, thanks. All those who were in argument with me, can always be and become my friends. We all mature with our experiences. Let us forget it once and for all and carry on with our product work. Guide99 (talk) 13:11, 18 December 2010 (UTC)--Guide99 (talk) 13:11, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, I have read WP:RS several times. I will quote you from that page here.
"Many Wikipedia articles rely on scholarly material. When available, academic and peer-reviewed publications, scholarly monographs, and textbooks are usually the most reliable sources."
In this context, I provided reference and appreciation letters of Shaikh Ahmad Deedat - These letters are indeed peer-review of the Books of Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri. These letters are signed by Shaikh Deedat himself.
As far as Text books are concerned, Shaikh sends many of his books to other scholars and libraries and Islamic Institutions. In return, they send letters of appreciation.
As far as Academic references are concerned, I provided references of top Management Institutions of the world (i) American Management Association, (ii) British Institute of Management, (iii) Association of Business Executives and others where Shaikh was member for several years.
I have provided "published" appreciation of the Shaikh on the official Websites of some very well known Islamic Institutions; some of them are in existence for decades and running many schools, etc. These are official Websites of these Islamic Institutions, therefore cannot be treated as 'general websites launched by individuals'. As a matter of fact to call these Institutions as "Websites" is wrong. These are Institutions and their official websites publish their views and other details.
www.cifiaonline.com is the official website of Correct Islamic Faith International Association which was jointly launched by many Islamic Institutions of the world. Today, it has 330 members and many scholars of Islam are its Associates. CIFIA is not a Website. It is an Association of literally all Ahle Sunnha of the world. Therefore, they claim that, with a rigid estimate, the followers of all Associate Scholars of Cifia, together, are more than 350 million. As far as I am concerned, this looks very authentic and genuine.
Shaikh does not like any kind of personal publicity. It is we, his fans and other Islamic Associations of the world who tell the world about him. We want more and more people to benefit from his person. He seldom talks to the press, very simple in his character and avoids media fan fare. But he is an ocean of Islamic knowledge. His understanding and explanations of Islamic issues are unique. Whatever he talks, is supported by Quran and Ahadith. If you sit in his company, you cannot cannot be unimpressed or unsatisfied. People like him are rare of the rarest in the world.
We can argue endlessly what can be treated as published and what not. But we need to be positive, and if you see the purpose of this article, then it will be easier for you to understand and accommodate information published on official websites of physically existing Islamic Institutions as "published".
Because information published in "Print Media" like newspapers and book" is same as published in "Electronic Media and Internet" as long as the publishing agency is physically existing, known, famous and genuine, having physical address, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, and names of Heads of their organizations. I have provided many such references in Shaikh's Article.
I hope you must have understood my point very clearly. And I will appreciate if you remove those tags and restore Shaikh's page.
I am giving you the Shaikh's page again that can be reviewed by all concerned.
Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri (الشيخ مير اسد الله قادري) is a Shaikh of Ahle Sunnah Wal Jama'a, Hanafi, known for his distinct explanations of Tawheed and Ilm-e-Sahih.

He used to send his books and booklets to the Shaikh from South Africa. Both these Shaikhs never met, but had great respect for each other and were in contact via letters and exchange of their books. We will briefly mention here about some of the last letters of Shaikh Ahmad Deedat (r) to Shaikh Asedullah Quadri.
On March 8, 1996, Shaikh Deedat (r) wrote to Shaikh Asedullah Quadri [8] requesting English translation of his book 'Islamic Wisdom' to be sent to him [9], as (in the words of Shaikh Deedat - r) it will be a great assistance to him as he was writing a book with a similar title. In May 1996, Shaikh Asedullah Quadri sent him the Urdu book (Hikmat-e-Islamia authored by Shaikh Mohammad Abdul Qadeer Siddiqui - r) with the promise to send the English translation done by him which was under print at that time. Shaikh Asedullah Quadri's letter and the book reached Shaikh Deedat (r) on June 4, 1996, but by then Shaikh Deedat (r) had a severe paralytic stroke on May 3, 1996. The information about the stroke was sent to Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri by Qassim Deedat, Treasurer, IPCI in his letter dated 17th September 1996. [10] . Thus, Shaikh Deedat (r) could not complete his proposed book titled "Wisdom".
Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri sent most of his books to IPCI, South Africa. Many of the books sent to Ahmad Deedat (r) were related to Tasawwuf and he was very happy to read them. Read Shaikh Deedat's (r) letter [11] thanking Shaikh Asedullah Quadri after receiving the books.
