Speed limits in Poland

Polish speed limits
  • 50 km/h (31 mph) in built-up areas from 5.00 to 23.00
  • 60 km/h (37 mph) in built-up areas from 23.00 to 5.00
  • 90 km/h (56 mph) on single carriageways (drogi jednojezdniowe)
  • 100 km/h (62 mph) on single-lane expressways or dual carriageways
  • 120 km/h (75 mph) on two-lane expressways;
  • 140 km/h (87 mph) on motorways;

The limits shown above apply unless otherwise stated, as road signs may prescribe a lower or a higher speed limit (limits of 70 km/h or higher can also be found on urban expressways).
