Rosemary Banks

Rosemary Banks (born 1951) is a New Zealand diplomat, currently New Zealand's Ambassador to France.[1] She was formerly New Zealand's Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York from June 2005 to June 2009.[2] Previously she served as deputy high commissioner to the Solomon Islands (1985-87), and Australia (1992-95).[3]
Banks graduated with an MA in Russian from the University of Canterbury,[3] and received an MSc from the London School of Economics in the UK. She is married to Brian Lockstone.
