Vessu (Urdu: ويسو) Vessu is a village in Anantnag district in Indian administered part of Jammu and Kashmir. It is located on Jammu Srinagar National Highway, 25 km from Jawahir Tunnel.

Vessu is a literate village with 80% literacy rate. This is highest among all the villages in Valley and much higher than the national average of India..
