History
In April 2008, Live Nation partnered with Jay-Z to create Roc Nation. Roc Nation is an entertainment company, including artists, songwriters, producers and engineer management; music publishing; touring & merchandising; film & television; new business ventures; and a music label. The first artist to sign to Roc Nation was J Cole.
