Parihar (Vidhan Sabha constituency) (Template:Lang-hi) is an assembly constituency in Sitamarhi district in the Indian state of Bihar.

Extent

As per Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly constituencies Order, 2008, 25. Parihar (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is composed of the following: Parihar community development block; Sonbarsa, Purandaha Rajwara Paschimi, Purandaha Rajwara Purvi, Indarwa, Pipra Parsain, Jainagar, Madhiya, Singhwahini, Bhaluaha, Bishunpur Aadhar and Dostia gram panchayats of Sonbarsha CD Block.[1]

Parihar (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is part of 5. Sitamarhi (Lok Sabha constituency).[1]

Results

In the 2010 state assembly elections, Ram Naresh Prasad Yadav of BJP won the newly created 25 Parihar assembly seat defeating his nearest rival Dr. Ramchandra Purve of RJD .[2]
