Hello Zerosey and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war to include images of palm trees at the Vancouver article. That is not how Wikipedia works. If you find your contributions reverted, the correct approach is to initiate discussion on the article talk page to seek consensus for your proposeed change. You can read about this here. If you continue to insist on including your own edits without discussion, you may end up getting blocked. Franamax (talk) 22:33, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you reinstate that lengthy caption, here, after I explained that it was too long? Drmies (talk) 00:52, 21 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

As often as you insert it, I will remove it; Vancouver is not Los Angeles nor is BC in Nayarit of on Maui. Pictures in the "ecology" section should represent the city, not make false imageries about it as if they were standard; palm trees are not as common as you are trying to portray, either with that picture, or in text-insertions. They are fairly rare ornamentals in Vancouver, bamboo is more common, and among other warm-climate plants the flowering cherry is much more emblematic of teh city, especially various neighbourhoods. Palm trees are not. Many of your image-replacments bespeak somebody who sees Vancouver as a giant postcard; pictures shoudl represent the city, NOT mis-represent it.Skookum1 (talk) 03:01, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You have no valid basis for deleting it, other than a personal bias, and dis-taste for palm trees. Considering wikipedia is based on actual facts, and I am posting nothing more than facts. Your completely out of line to be deleting them and you will be reported for such.
