Thomas Fanara

Thomas Fanara (born 24 April 1981 in Annecy, Haute-Savoie) is a French alpine skier specialisting in Giant Slalom. Fanara is currently participating in the 2008 World Cup. Fanara appeared at the Winter Olympics in the Giant Slalom race at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Italy, but did not finish the race.[1]

World championships

Fanara appeared in the Giant Slalom at the 2007 Championships in Åre, Sweden, finishing in 16th position[2]

World Cup

Fanara's best finish in a World Cup race was fifth, in a Giant Slalom race on January 7, 2006 in Adelboden[3]

National Championships

Fanara was fifth in the French Giant Slalom (GS) Championships in 2003, third in GS 2005, and ninth in slalom in 2005.[4]
