Yiannis Melanitis

Yiannis Melanitis is a Greek artist born in Athens in 1967.[1] His works include an interactive performance Kryographia, The Conductivity of Writing, ABOUT, Athens, October 2010, Pleasure Machine' which was performed at the House of World Cultures in Berlin.[2]. Monaco Dance Forum, Touch Terrain multi-user interactive environment 2006. He holds degrees in Painting (prof.X.Botsoglou), Sculpture (prof. G.Lappas) and Masters degree in Digital Arts from Athens School of Fine Arts and he is a PhD Fellow at NTUA, Athens School of Architecture.[1]He was elected as a Lecturer at the Sculpture Deptm. Of Athens School Fine Arts, May 2010.

In March 2008, he installed a sculpture exhibition at E31 Gallery, Athens, called "Odysseus as Faust".[3] Latest work has been In October 2010, an interactive poerformance installation and exhibition of his work called Kryografia.[4]
