Nailed is a "politically charged romantic comedy"[1] on which production was begun and then halted under filmmaker David O. Russell, who co-wrote the screenplay with Kristin Gore. Plot
Alice Eckle (Jessica Biel) accidentally gets a nail lodged in her head driving her to travel to Washington D.C. to fight for better health care. While there, she falls in love with a young senator, Howard Birdwell (Jake Gyllenhaal).[1]
