Nailed is a "politically charged romantic comedy"[1] on which production was begun and then halted under filmmaker David O. Russell, who co-wrote the screenplay with Kristin Gore. The film stars Jessica Biel, Jake Gyllenhaal, Kirstie Alley, James Marsden, and Catherine Keener. It was filmed in Columbia, South Carolina, USA.

Plot

Alice Eckle (Jessica Biel) accidentally gets a nail lodged in her head driving her to travel to Washington D.C. to fight for better health care. While there, she falls in love with a young senator, Howard Birdwell (Jake Gyllenhaal).[1]
