Irwin "Tack" Kuntz

Irwin D. Kuntz is an important figure in the field of molecular aided drug design and molecular modeling in general. He is a pioneer in development and conception of the docking area. The first docking program UCSF DOCK was created in his group.

He was the founder of Molecular Design Institute at UCSF.
