Marc Mysterio

Marc Mysterio is a Canadian pop musician, disc jockey, writer, singer, composer, and producer.[1] Marc Mysterio runs two labels - World Class Records & Amerada Music...[2][3]

Marc Mysterio has toured internationally, as well as having appeared as an invited guest dj on global radio station, including: as a guest dj on BBC Radio 1 with Judge Jules whom stated “In a short time, Marc has managed to conquer the cold face of dance in a big way and is set to enter the top lever of artist/dj/producer in the world”[4] on BBC Radio 1 presenting Marc's guest dj set on his show.[5]

His upcoming album release "Redemption" includes collaborations with Samantha Fox, Gary Pine, Lillix, Tiff Lacey, Dhany, Chris Willis Shena and Yardi Don.

2007 - 2008

Marc Mysterio first became recognized in 2007 for his first single "Answer This" (featuring Linda Newman);[6][7][8].

2009

On January 2, 2009, Marc Mysterio and Téo Moss released a cover version of "One More Time" featuring the vocals of Yardi Don.[9] In a press release, Mysterio noted his reasoning for producing the cover was his difficulty in mixing the original in his DJ sets due to its slow tempo. He and Moss consider "One More Time" to be a great influence in their work and intended to create a version of the song with a "2009 feel".[10] The cover version was charted in multiple countries worldwide, and received widespread airplay in USA, although did not crack the top 40. On May 4, 2008; Spinnin Records released Roll Wit It in Europe, which featured the vocals of Chris Willis and charted in UK.[11]

"Tomorrow" Marc Mysterio feat. Samantha Fox

Marc Mysterio released "Tomorrow", featuring Samantha Fox, which debuted on radio worldwide on August 7, 2009 on stations worldwide, including: NRJ, Power 106, and Radio 538.[12][13][14]

It has since been signed by Sony Music.[1]

“Over the last few years, Marc has been working his craft and building his presence in the global scene with solid vocal tracks and big room anthems with crossover appeal. With his 'resurrection' of Samantha Fox, he's definitely getting people's attention now!” noted Grammy Winner Roger Sanchez, whom has also invited Marc Mysterio to co-produce and write tracks for his own new album.[4]

"Shout It Out" Breach of contract lawsuit

TMZ[15] & Popeater reported that on August 23, 2010, Marc Mysterio filed a lawsuit against Brandy Norwood [16] seeking up to $6,000,000 in damages.[17] According to reports, Brandy had been paid $10,000 as a side artist fee to feature on Marc Mysterio's Debut Album's Lead Single,[18] 'Shout It Out'.[16] The invoice and an email from her manager Ryan Ramsey confirming receipt of the funds have been published by British Tabloid, Anorak.[19] but then backed out of the deal.[20]

The lawsuit is ongoing, and a subpeona was issued by the court ordering copies of videotapes of conversations between Marc Mysterio and Brandy which were recorded by VH1 for her Family Business Season 2 Reality Show.[21] The single without Brandy has thus far reached number 2 on Mediabase's New Airplay Top 40 Chart for the week of October 3.[22]
