Maverick Sabre

Maverick Sabre (age 19) is a british-vocalist and rapper, born in Hackney, London in the United Kingdom. Associated with genres such as R&B and Folk, Sabre is known for his eery vocals and guitar playing. In January 2011, Sabre appeared on Professor Green's single Jungle, which peaked at number 31 on the UK Singles Chart[1]. His debut EP is due for release on 7 March 2011.

Career

Early history

Maverick Sabre was born in 1991 in Hackney, London; located in the United Kingdom. It was during his childhood that Sabre moved to Ireland, moving back to London following his pursuit of a musical career.

Breakthrough (2010 – present)

Sabre's career began in May 2010, when he appeared on Jermicide & Danny Digg's album Middle Class; of which three tracks featured Maverick: "Afriad", "Where We Go" and "Still With Me"[2]. Sabre then released his debut mixtape, The Travelling Man on 25 November 2010 in the United Kingdom. The mixtape was released as a free digital download and featured "Sometimes", a song in which a promotional video was released. On 6 January, "Sometimes" was released without rapper Wretch 32 as a promotional single. Sabre then appeared as a guest on Drum and Bass duo Chase & Status' second studio album No More Idols, on a track entitled "Fire In Your Eyes". On 1 January 2011, Professor Green released his fourth single "Jungle" from his album Alive Till I'm Dead[3]. The single, which featured Sabre debuted at number 34 on the UK Singles Chart, managing to reach a peak of number 31 the following week[1].
