I have removed the statement from this article that the .500 Maxnimum "is more powerful than the .500 S&W Magnum" this statement is completely false, even comparing the ballistics charts on their respective wiki pages shows far higher KE numbers listed for the S&W. The statement was likely a biased remark by a .500 Maximum owner, and the sourcing behind the statement led only to a dead link. Regardless the difference in energy between the two is vast, and in favor of the .500 S&W, I have changed the page to omit comparisons between the two.
