Kristen Mary "Kris" Jenner (née Houghton, previously Kardashian) (born November 5, 1955) is an American television personality, socialite, and businesswoman. She is also the manager for her daughter Kim Kardashian and the wife of Olympic Champion Bruce Jenner. She was married to Robert Kardashian. They divorced in 1990.[1]
Biography
Kristen Mary Houghton grew up in La Jolla, California and went to Clairemont High School. She has two sisters, Karen and Sarah. Kris was married to lawyer Robert Kardashian (widely known for his trial defense of O.J. Simpson) from 1978 to 1990 with whom she had four children: Kourtney on April 18, 1979; Kim on October 21, 1980; Khloé on June 27, 1984 and Robert Kardashian Jr. on March 17, 1987. Following marital difficulties Kris filed for divorce in 1989. Robert Kardashian died September 30, 2003.[2]
Kris manages members of her family and co-manages the girl group BG5, or The Beach Girl5[3]. She is most known for being the executive producer and starring in the reality show [[Keeping Up with the Kardashians].[4]
Second marriage
Kris and Bruce Jenner married on April 21, 1991. Kris has two daughters with Bruce, Kendall Nicole (b. November 3, 1995) and Kylie Kristen (b. August 10, 1997).[5] She became a grandmother when Kourtney gave birth to her first child Mason.
