Bas-Caraquet (French for Lower Caraquet) is a village on the Acadian Peninsula of New Brunswick, Canada. As of 2001 the population was 1,689, of which 1,670 were francophone.

Bas-Caraquet is situated at the eastern entrance to Caraquet Harbour from the Baie des Chaleurs. Fishing is the principal industry.
