Welcome

I like robots with teeth.

Hi there. Noticed you around a bit there, and hope you're finding Wikipedia fun, helpful, and most of all, addicting. I noticed you like pie, which is excellent. What kind? I also left you an odd robot to look at. Hope you don't mind.

Feel free to check out Wikipedia:Help Desk for help with Wikipedia stuff, or you can go to Wikipedia:Esperanza for more casual things. There's also the Tutorial if you want to check out that. Or, even better, you can ask me stuff on my talk page, cos I'm a bored kid waiting to help anybody who wants it, if I can.

Anyway, hope you've had a good day when you read this, and that you have fun with Wikipedia. --Tim Rhymeless

What is it that you'd like to do?  Glen  03:30, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Its just we're not creating userboxes in templatespace anymore, trying to userfy them. So, I thought perhaos thats what you were doing  Glen  03:51, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, Glen. Pacmanfever 04:03, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

User box

I got you message and you are right. But if you create user boxes, I've got a good Idea for you. Heave you ever played Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door? well, I was thinking that you could create a (er... maybe some) about the Pit of 100 trials that says "this user got down to the xst, xnd, xrd, or xth level in the Pit of 100 trials in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door" then another one that says, "This user got down to the 100th level in the Pit of 100 trials in [Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door]] and got squashed by the boss down there", and, "This user got down to the 100th level in the Pit of 100 trials in [Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door]] and obliterated the boss down there". I will also post this on the user box suggestion page.Sir Intellegent 15:27, 31 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

User box

No offense, but I have been crating little user boxes on my page and I think that I can do it. Sir Intellegent 01:23, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've nominated it for deletion on the grounds that it's excessively large, and should be replaced with a category. 75.62.7.22 06:45, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Vermont

Ah, uh, eh, hi ChunkyStyle. Is the Vermont template you placed on the article Great Seal of Vermont a work in progress, or something? At present it doesn't seem to really offer anything not already in the article. I suppose it does mention the state capital, but like, that's kinda easy. Just curious. Thanks. User box idea(ish)

Looking at your first sentence, I think this user box is applicable to you ;) Sincerely, Sir intellegent - smartr tahn eaver!!!! 21:46, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Google-screenshot.JPG)

Thanks for uploading Image:Google-screenshot.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 18:12, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WHAT THE (blank) IS WRONG WITH YOU!??!

(blank) (blank)! Don't vandalize the (blank)ing image for the RHCP article! You made me, a noob at Wikipedia, try to fix that image for like eight times before being successful! Xihix 03:30, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is a clear violation of WP:CIVIL. CloudNine 15:10, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm trying to ignore this issue, but just for refrence, I simply added a comment tag, and accidentally erased the jpg extension. I would like to let go of this issue, it was reverted, and that's that. ¿ChunkyStyle (talk contribs)?

There was no comment tag, it was the name of the (blank)ing pic... Xihix 17:24, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, well I erased the comment tag and jpg (the comment tag was right next to the image name) ChunkyStyle (talk contribs)

But there was no comment tag... Xihix 17:24, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I created a comment tag next to the image title. Then, I erased the comment as I felt it was not needed. And when I erased the comment tag, I accidentally erased the file extension. I do not want to get in some huge fight and I am trying to remain civil. ChunkyStyle (talk contribs)

Well you failed, badly. Xihix 17:39, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nine Inch Nails, man

As founder of the NIN task force, I thought you might be interested to know that the main Nine Inch Nails page is up for Featured Article nomination. So, I'd appreciated it if you'd take a gander at the article and post your comments at the article's nom page. And maybe a Pass/Support vote if you feel strongly one way or the other. Thanks! A proposed deletion template has been added to the article AdeS, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:PolygonWindowQuoth.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:PolygonWindowQuoth.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 16:56, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy Deletion of Green Calx (EP)

A tag has been placed on Green Calx (EP), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

No assertion of notability

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Jeodesic (talk) 11:07, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"I remember I was taking a piss at a party once in this multi-urinal stall bathroom, and this guy was pissing next to me and he looks over at me pissing and starts singing 'Under the Bridge' in some twisted key and I though 'Okay. We've definitely made it now; a drunken guy is singing out of key one of our songs next to me in the urinal." - Anthony Kiedis

A tag has been placed on Anal Cabaret: A Tribute to Soft Cell requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Dear User: IMPORTANT WIKI ARCADE GAMES PROJECT NOTICE

As you should be aware the wiki arcade games project has been marked inactive and with good reason. I am trying to increase the activity of this project but first I need to know who is still actually interested. So to find out I have put inactive next to the name of every person who has put them selves down as a participant of the project. If for whatever reason you do not intend to participate in the project anymore please remove your name from the participant list altogether. If you do but not in the near future leaving inactive next to your username will be helpful. Not taking any action at all will of course lead to inactive remaining against your name on the participant list. If however you have every intention on continuing in participating in the project please come change the "inactive" next to your username to "ACTIVE" so that it is clear who does and who does not still have interest in participating in the project. Thankyou for your time. --Hybrid360 (talk) 20:21, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your request for rollback

After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback can be used to revert vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback may be removed at any time.

If you no longer want rollback, then contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some information on how to use rollback, you can view this page. I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, just leave me a message if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Happy editing! Proposed deletion of AdeS

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article AdeS, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

not notable

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. —Preceding unsigned comment added by LoverOfTheRussianQueen (talkcontribs) 17:12, 5 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (File:Aphex Twin logo.png)

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Aphex Twin logo.png.

You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Aspects (talk) 03:54, 4 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Green Calx (EP), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Green Calx (EP). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. —Justin (koavf)TCM04:14, 16 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
