Vincent Martin Chiappini, affectionately known as Vinnie to most, was born on April 23, 1987 in Brockton, Massachusetts. He is the son of Nancy and Steven Chiappini. He has two older brothers: Thomas Michael, born in 1980, and Timothy Joseph, born in 1984. Raised in Bridgewater and educated in the Bridgewater-Raynham public school district, Vincent shined throughout life. Shortly before reaching the McElwain School, he met his first best friend, Gregory Webber. Vincent, Gregory, and Justin Tiplady spent many hours together perched in a half-fallen tree on Bridgewater's Austin Street, peeing on a McDonald's Happy Meal Toy Grimmace. He spent many days winning Around the World flashcard tournaments and playing Suicide at the McElwain School. He continued on to the Williams Middle School and the Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School. At the middle school he met his other life-long best friend Dusty Hall in his 7th-grade US History class.
His high school years were filled with achievement and sputtering personal growth. When confirmed at his home parish, Saint Thomas Aquinas, he took the patron saint name "Thomas" for his patron saint Thomas Aquinas. He played for the Bridgewater-Raynham football team from his freshman through junior years, spending most of his time at defensive end. He was coached by the legendary Steve Fernandes. He also played on the indoor and outdoor Trojan track teams from his freshman through junior years. The team won the Old Colony League Championship all six seasons Vincent participated. Burdened with work as a bank teller and his schoolwork, Vincent quit football his senior year and played golf. He was terrible, but often remarks that he would like to improve. No improvement has yet occurred.
Vincent was employed for the three summers after his sophomore, junior and senior years for his state senator. He credits the experience with moderating his political views and developing many of his skills. Currently, Vincent has tremendous skills.
At the high school, he also ran three consecutive unsuccessful campaigns for the office of class vice-president, each time losing to a different foe. Toward the end of his junior year, he and his best friend since seventh-grade, William "Dusty" Everett Hall III, launched a ferocious coup. Blanketing the school with clever fliers and posters and winning over the student body one heart at a time, Vincent and Dusty were favorites among all. However, the three-term incumbent, Matthew Devin, defeated Dusty in an election highly-contested. Dusty blames a third-party candidate whose own boyfriend did not even vote for her with his defeat. Still, Vincent won. Some worried this presidency would have a similar antagonism to the presidency of John Adams with vice-president Thomas Jefferson. Surprisingly, after ending repeated calls for a recount, Vincent went on to lead a very successful administration with Matthew. They accomplished much and once provoked an argument between a representative of Tuxedos by Merian and Peter Drosos, which concluded in the tuxedo salesman exclaiming, "Are you saying that me, my family, and business are swindlers?!" Peter replied in the affirmative.
During his senior year, Vincent also had numerous other accomplishments. He was elected National Honor Society President. He managed the job wonderfully, launching an extremely lucrative towel sale with the help of his fellow officers. He also planned a trip to the Newport mansions, which was enjoyed by all, and with the creative help of Luke Daniels, he made a sick t-shirt for NHS. He was also the head delegate for the Boston University Model UN at MIT. He was well known for making out with some chick on the dance floor at the above conference. He also earned the spot of "Elisha J. Whitney" in the musical "Anything Goes" at the high school his senior year. Comedically, he stole the show. Also, he earned his Eagle Scout Award for a renovation at the Bridgewater Public Library, for which he raised over a thousand dollars and managed over two hundred hours of labor. His elected spot on the Student Council lengthened his resume, but really didn't mean much. All four years he was a lector at his parish St. Thomas Aquinas and worked as a receptionist there throughout almost all of high school.
Vincent won acclaim for his good looks and charm more directly as well. At the high school Semi-Formal, he was selected as Mr. Regional, the equivalent of Homecoming King, alongside Ms. Regional, the lovely Ashley Freitas. Later in the year, he won the Mr. B-R competition, a test for supremacy among the cream of the crop of senior males that tests swimsuit sexiness, talent, and formal dress sophistication. Vincent looked ravishing in his "Executive Bathing Suit," made the crowd laugh till it hurt with his and Dusty's rendition of "Who's on First?" and had the women swooning with his formal appearance. He stays humble and true.
Accepted to both West Point and Harvard, Vincent had a difficult time choosing. He eventually chose Harvard and elected to do Army ROTC there. He may major in History, English, or most likely Classics.
Vincent has a close group of friends, including above mentioned ones along with Matt Jones, Ricky "(Not so) Slique Rick" Pelland, and many others who know who they are. They involve themselves in numerous wild outings. You can often find them at the Raynham-Taunton Greyhound Park and Lincoln Park in Rhode Island. His wild friends Peter Drosos and Joshua Randall are incredible characters who enliven any situation with their wild antics.
Vincent is a conservative, often erring to the Republican side in national elections, and is also a devout Catholic. He learned much about the Jewish faith through his fantastic freshman year roommates at Harvard in the infamous party suite, Wigglesworth G-12 where the most important things are "Glamour, sex, champagne and respect." He enjoys poetry, his favorite poet being A.E. Housman. His favorite movies are Muppet Treasure Island and Dumb and Dumber. It is rumored that he is distantly semi-related to White Bulger's predecessor James "Buddy" McLean. He is an occasional editor for a service that helps primarily Asian college applicants. He is also a regular prison tutor.
