Sarah Lahbati Alzol (born October 9, 1993 in Geneva, Switzerland) is a Moroccan-Filipino actress and reality show contestant who gained media attention as a finalist on the 5th season of StarStruck, a Philippine overall talent show broadcast on GMA Network.

Personal life

Lahbati was born in Geneva, Switzerland, to a Moroccan father and a Filipina mother who hails from Bicol.[1] Lahbati has older half-brothers in maternal side. Although raised primarily in Switzerland, Lahbati would frequently visit the Philippines and, at eight years of age, studied in the Philippines for two years. She studied at Immaculate Conception Academy (north campus, in Cavite). She is multilingual, speaking fluent French, English, and Filipino, as well as some Swiss German and Arabic.

A member of the Come to Jesus Fellowship, Lahbati is a devout Born-Again Christian; prior to StarStruck, she sang in her church's choir as part of their praise and worship team.
Lahbati is currently living in her mother's province in Cavite.[2]

StarStruck

Lahbati auditioned for the fifth season of StarStruck in 2009 while on an evangelical concert with her church. On November 29, she was announced as one of the season's 14 finalists along with Rocco Nacino, Sef Cadayona, Ian Batherson, Rye Burgos, Steven Silva, Piero Vergara, Enzo Pineda, Diva Montelaba, Zeryl Lim, Rox Montealegre, Fianca Cruz, Nina Kodaka, and Princess Snell. Early on, she was described as a clear front-runner, with most of her fellow female contestants describing her as their "biggest threat" in the competition.[3][4] On February 21, 2010, she emerged as the Ultimate Female Survivor of the competition with an average score of 94.6 per cent, her male counterpart being Filipino-American Steven Silva. As one of the winners of the competition, she received a P1.5 million cash prize and an exclusive contract with GMA Network with a minimum guarantee of P3.5 million pesos.[5]
