Grolsch (in full Koninklijke Grolsch N.V. or Royal Grolsch N.V.) (EuronextGROL) is a Dutch brewery best known for its pilsner which was originally brewed in Groenlo. The Grolsch brewery in Groenlo has been in business since 1615. The town of Groenlo was then known as Grolle, hence the name Grolsch. The brewery was first operated by Willem Neerfeldt. Later his son in law, Peter Cuyper brought the quality of beer brewing in Groenlo to a new level by using an exclusive recepture and a natural method of brewing beer. The beer from Groenlo (Grolle) became ever more known in the surroundings of Groenlo. Through the years the demand for Grolsch beer shifted from a local to national and eventually international level. Nowadays, Grolsch exports to about 50 countries.

After building an extra brewery in Enschede, the Enschede brewery became the main brewery over the years. This brewery was heavily damaged during the fireworks explosion on 13 May 2000. The brewery in Groenlo has been closed and a new brewery replacing both the Groenlo and Enschede affiliate opened in 2004 in Boekelo nearby Enschede.

Grolsch uses a distinctive shape of bottle, known as the beugel. Bottles of this type use a swingtop cap, which eliminates the need for an opener. They can simply be opened by hand. The top used to be made from porcelain, but is now made from plastic, the porcelain ones are still in circulation in the Netherlands. The exported bottles are green. Bottles destined for home market the Netherlands are brown. There Grolsch is also sold in normal type bottles.

The primary rival of Grolsch is the Dutch brewery Heineken.
