Autovein is an alternative rock band formed in St. Louis, Missouri, currently recording on Outlook Music, owned and operated by Trevor Pryce of the Baltimore Ravens.

History

The Adored (2003-2004)

The Adored formed in 2003 and began working on home demos. The band continued recording work with producer Skidd Mills.

Autovein (2007-February 22, 2011)

The Adored inked a major-label deal with Columbia Records, which brought about another name change, well actually two. When the band was signed on at first they adopted the name "For the World" which toured for about a year until Columbia Records told them to change their name. The band, now known as "For the World", recorded their debut full-length album with producer Garth Richardson, and it was later mixed by Adam Kasper. For the World toured with The Juliana Theory. In November 2006, For the World joined Fall Out Boy and Coheed and Cambria for KPNT's annual Christmas show. KPNT began spinning "Bullet in an Angel", and the band landed a slot playing the Pointfest music festival in St. Louis. Later in 2006, after they changed their name to Autovein, the band found themselves without their record deal and fighting for the right to release the album. Throughout this period, they continued to tour in support of the new material.

The album, Bullets and Bruises, is currently slated for a spring 2007 release through Outlook Records, and the first single has been announced as "Save Me". In addition, "Bullet in an Angel" will also be available on the Midwest Music Explosion Vol. 2 compilation CD.

They are now out on tour with Smile Empty Soul and The Exies to promote the new album "Bullets and Bruises".

In summer 2010, Autovein performed at both of KPNT's Pointfest music festivals in St.Louis. The band announced on stage that they have recently recorded a brand new album that will be released in January 2011.

On August 24th, Autovein joined Filter for a free Q101 show in Chicago at 115 Bourbon Street.

In January and February 2011, four of the band's new tracks were featured on the MTV shows World of Jenks,Teen Mom 2, and Jersey Shore (TV series).
