Yellow rattle (Rhinanthus minor) is a flowering plant of the Genus Rhinanthus in the family Scrophulariaceae. This is a semi-parasitic plant that gains some of its nutrients from the roots of neighbouring plants. The name refers to the seedpods, in contain loose, rattling seeds when ripe.
