Dagenham East is a London Underground station on the District Line, located in Dagenham.

The station is in Zone 5.

The station was opened in 1885 by the London Tilbury & Southend Railway. The current station structure was opened in 1932 when the electrified District Line was extended to Upminster.

The Fenchurch Street overground line used to stop here until the station was closed in the 1960s in accordance with the Beeching Axe, then demolished in the 1980s so the land could be turned into a builders merchants.
