M. Lindley Lee
Moses Lindley Lee (May 29, 1805 - May 19, 1876) was a U.S. Representative from New York.
Born in Minisink, New York, Lee pursued classical studies. He was graduated from Union College in 1827 and from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Western New York in 1830. Practiced medicine in Fulton, New York. Postmaster at Fulton 1840-1844. He served as member of the State assembly in 1847 and 1848. He served in the State senate in 1855.
Lee was elected as a Republican to the Thirty-sixth Congress (March 4, 1859-March 3, 1861). He resumed the practice of medicine in Fulton, New York. Returning from a visit in the South became seriously ill at Petersburg, Virginia, and died there on May 19, 1876. He was interred in Mount Adnah Cemetery, Fulton, New York.
