Gaobeidian, Hebei (Chinese: 高碑店市; pinyin: Gāobēidiàn Shì) is a county-level city in Hebei province, China. It is under the administration of Baoding prefecture. Gaobeidian has 4 subdistricts, 6 towns, and 4 townships, and a total of 442 villages.[1] It is 82 km (51 mi) south of Beijing and 68 km (42 mi) north of Baoding.
Gaobeidian City was long known as Xincheng County (新城县). In 1993, its name was changed to Gaobeidian City.
