A Place for Mom
A Place for Mom is a privately-held, for-profit senior care referral service based in Seattle, Washington. The company provides information about senior housing and elder care providers to seniors and their families throughout the United States. At the same time it serves as a marketing tool for the thousands of homes and providers to which it refers. It is the largest such service in the nation and has more than 500 employees.

A Place for Mom advisers also provide ongoing support and guidance to the family after the initial consultation. The service is free to families, but advisers are only able to refer homes or providers that reimburse A Place for Mom and who pay for referrals.
