23°36′07″S 46°45′10″W / 23.60194°S 46.75278°W / -23.60194; -46.75278 Taboão da Serra is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. The population in 2004 was 221,176 and the area is 20 km². It is the second smallest city in São Paulo Metropolitan Area (RMSP) and it has a population density of 11,058.8 people per square kilometre, or 18,431.33 people per square mile.

Climate

The city climate , as in the whole Greater São Paulo, has a monsoon-influenced humid subtropical climate (Cfa), according to the Köppen classification. Summer not to warm and rainy. The winter is not too cold , and rainless. The year average temperature is 63.5 (17.5 Cº), and the coldest month is July (Average 55.4 [13°C]) and the hottest February with an average temperature of 71.6 (22°C). Rainfall is abundant, amounting to an annual average of 1,400 millimetres (57.2 in)
