The Sager NP7280 ( aka Clevo x7200 ) is a Desktop Replacement 17.3" laptop powered by by Intel Core i7 desktop processors. The laptop is also capable of Dual nVIDIA GeForce GTX (Fermi) with Scalable Link Interface (SLI) technology and rumored to be added ATI CrossFire graphics cards.

According to the Clevo Web site the x7220 will fulfill "the performance enthusiasts who desire an incredible laptop, it stands out without competition."[1]

At the time of its release in September 2010, the x7200 was crowned "King of the Desktop Replacement."[2]

Known Issues

Soon after its release, it was reported[need citation] certain x7200/NP7280 configurations under heavy would cause the power supply unit (PSU) to cut out, switching the power to the laptop's battery. [Need citation from Speedy and others about power draw and safety feature of the PSU]. In order to prevent the problem, Clevo developed a power connecting bridge so two PSUs could be used in tandem to provide the necessary power to the system, thus preventing the PSU from a fault. [Citations and need to expand all of this.]
