Eric Stough

Eric Stough (born July 31 1972) is the animation director and producer of the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning television series "South Park." He was also the animation director of South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut and has worked with Parker and Stone on Orgazmo, Team America: World Police and the Broadway hit The Book of Mormon. Eric met Parker in high school where they did short films and were in plays together. Matt Stone was in Eric's short film The Diner in college at the University of Colorado. Prior to his work with Parker and Stone, Stough had internships with Jim Henson Productions and Walt Disney. Eric Stough is originally from Evergreen, Colorado and the South Park character Leopold "Butters" Stotch is based on him.
