The source you cited didn't even make any sense, in either the question or the answer. Yes, magenta is the color of a mixture of red and blue light; that's what magenta light is. No mystery. But there's no wavelength of that color, so it's not a "spectral" color. Dicklyon (talk) 16:17, 19 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Since you replied on my talk page instead of here, I replied to that there. Dicklyon (talk) 03:09, 20 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Furthermore, I recommend you float your idea on Talk:Magenta before putting nonsense into the article again. Dicklyon (talk) 03:11, 20 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I replied over at user talk:Dicklyon#Magenta Color. Sorry 110.174.23.139, you seem to be confused about how color vision works. If you would like, I could recommend some better sources to read. –jacobolus (t) 20:17, 20 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ok. I'll revert it as I do not want to be unreasonable. I acknowledge that much information exists supporting Magenta as a supposedly extra-spectral color. I do believe that with an extended discussion I can demonstrate that the logic behind any color being extra(or Non) spectral is flawed. One could start by exploring Qualia and get into semantics. What I will try to do is get in contact with people (incl Ken Mellendorf) that support Magenta as a transmissible light wavelength.

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Top Ryde City appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe this important core policy. Thank you.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Top Ryde City, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.

I've responded to your post on the talk page for Top Ryde City and reverted your reversion. I get that you're aggrieved by the shopping centre in some way, but please don't try to reintroduce uncited quotes and content that is not neutral. -danjel (talk to me) 13:00, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Top Ryde City. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you.
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Top Ryde City. Users who edit disruptively or refuse to collaborate with others may be blocked if they continue. In particular the three-revert rule states that making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block. If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the talk page to discuss controversial changes. Work towards wording and content that gains consensus among editors. If unsuccessful, then do not edit war even if you believe you are right. Post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.
Your edits are not neutral. I have tried to engage you on the talk page, consider discussing the issue if you are having trouble putting it in neutral wording. -danjel (talk to me) 06:05, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have brought the issue of your recent reverts to the Administrators Noticeboard. You can find the report at Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Edit_warring#User:110.174.23.139_reported_by_User:Danjel_.28Result:_.29. -danjel (talk to me) 10:20, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
