Innovation Academy Charter School is a small but expanding charter school in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts. Situated on a beautiful, pristine campus, the school is guarded by a fairly large dragon. The facility is directed by the powerful and spiritual leader, Dr. Walter Landberg, MD. He rules the school with a mighty, but gentle hand. Students often relate him to a Moses like figure due to his incredible beard and ability to part waves with his surfboard. He was once quoted as saying the following: "In 2001, I became the school’s second Executive Director after serving as a teacher at the school, as a school director for Teach For America in Houston, Texas, and as a teacher in Oakland and Los Angeles, California.
