David Stein is the host of The David Stein Show, although it is referred to by Stein as "A Celebration of Life Through Sports".[1] The show, which is broadcast each weekday from 1am-5am ET, focuses on "paying it forward", random acts of kindness and encourages in listeners to "get off the bench and onto the court" with inspirational stories from the world of sports and from other callers. Stein begins each call by asking, "What is good in your life?"

On April 5, 2011 Stein began a new show which is more general talk but with a positive outlook. [2]

The show often deals with non-sports sports headlines, attracting criticism from listeners who would prefer to hear the day's major sports headlines discussed.

Another staple of Stein's show is "Pep Talk Friday" and the "Pep Talk Hall of Fame", where Stein plays pep talks given mostly by sports coaches, usually in their entirety.

Stein proudly cheers for and frequently talks about the Clemson Tigers. He also frequently discusses his cats and the phenomena of daily life. He sometimes links topics by saying, "anyhoodles".
