If you haven't noticed by the username, I like trains. Especially those of the Denver & Rio Grande Western (I'm a true Rebel of the Rockies. Only a Grande nut would get that). And steam locomotives. And freight cars. And mining railroads. And Shay locomotives. Oh, and SD40T-2 Diesel Tunnel Motors. Did I mention trains?

All right, call me what you want (examples: Rail fanatic, train nut, just train crazy). But going by the title of Ferroequinologist, S.P. sounds very dignified, as long as nobody knows that it means "Self-Proclaimed studier of the Iron Horse". So There.

I do contribute to the railroad articles if I know something about them. Have info, will share.

Language

I speak Utahrn. I mean Utahn. I inadvertedly pronounce the "or" and "ah" sounds as an "ahr", while leaving out the "t" from such words as "Layton" and "Mountain", instead relying on an accent of silence to make up for the missing consonant. As such, the Moun'ains are to the west of Lay'on and American Farhk.

Yet, I can drive all you furriners crazy by correctly pronouncing Tooele as "Too-will-uh" and Duchesne as "Doo-shane". Iosepa is "Yo-sep-ah". Our state flower is the Say-go Lily, not the See-go. And no, Ogden is not in Webrey County. It's Weber. Like the grill.

And now, presenting my Creative Commons licensed photographs that I think are very goodly:
