Rooma Mehra (born 24 January 1967)(1) is an Indian poet, painter and sculptor, as well as a columnist for the Indian Express.
Mehra is a self-taught artist with a social conscience, who has had 11 solo shows{{11th Solo Art Show at India Habitat Center}}[1] of her paintings, reliefs and sculptures. Her artworks are found in private and permanent collections including the National Gallery of Modern Art,{Collection NGMA New Delhi], Lalit Kala Akademi,(5) New Delhi, Arte Antica Gallery,(4) Canada, and individual collections in Switzerland, the U.S.A., Denmark, Austria, the U.K., Spain, the U.A.E. and Japan.
She expresses humanitarianism(3) GREEN DOVE'S PEACE POETS in all her works of art as well as her writings (2)
A compilation of her travel articles published in Indian national newspapers, was transcreated by Mehra into the German language and published digitally, entitled "Das ausländische Stück des Grases" in 2008.
