Folk Nation
The Folk Nation is a loosely affiliated set of street gangs based out of the Chicago region which has since branched throughout the United States. They are rivals to the People Nation.

Symbols used by Folk Nation gangs include a six pointed star (Star of David, although there is no connection to the Jewish symbol), adopted in honor of deceased leader 'King' David Barksdale. The six points are said to symbolize Life, Loyalty, Love, Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding.
It is also common for members of Folk Nation gangs to wear caps tilted to the left, bandanas hanging from the left pocket or tied around the left leg. This is in contrast to Peoples Nation gangs, which wear similar clothing on the right side of their body.
