This page needs editing: Sir George Macartney (the consul) did not marry a chinese lady. See "The Silk Road: Two Thousand Years in the Heart of China" + Also the wikipedia for the 18th century Lord George Macartney says that his estate and title went to his niece's son and implied he had no children of his own.
