Birth at Nichols, NY is questionable.

In L.W.'s 1930's era passport, he claims his place of birth as Van Ettenville, N.Y. (presumably Van Etten, N.Y.). At least one Connecticut publication discussing legislator Housel claims his place of birth is Snow Shoe, PA. The area around Nichols is where he grew up.

NO WHERE in the family archive does he list his place of birth as Nichols, N.Y. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.63.253.107 (talk) 01:06, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I found his obit on page four of the Sept. 20, 1935 Humboldt Republican newspaper, which identifies VanEttenville as his place of birth. It also states that he died Sept. 15, 1935, after being hospitalized on Sept. 10, and that his funeral occurred on Sept. 18.Wikijsmak (talk) 16:33, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Date of death. Lorenzo died and was buried while his daughter was in the hospital bringing Lorenzo's second grandson into the world. The dates quoted above in the obituary seem to be confirmed by this information.
