Purfleet railway station

Purfleet railway station is located in Purfleet, Havering, 14 miles East-North-East of Charing Cross.

It was opened in 1854 as part of the London Tilbury & Southend Railway.

Passenger train services are provided by c2c.

Off peak service consists of two trains an hour in each direction between Fenchurch Street railway station and Grays railway station.

It is between Rainham and Grays. According to train operators c2c, "Purfleet is a mainly residential and industrial area". [1]
