The Sands of Kurobe (黒部の太陽, Kurobe no Taiyō) is a 1968 Japanese film directed by Kei Kumai. It was Japan's submission to the 41st Academy Awards for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, but was not accepted as a nominee.[1]
