Image

This image was removed due to its poor quality, and relative small relation to subject:

Was the only image I had at the time thet related to Canmore, which is the "known" view of Cascade mountain. BTW: it is an award winning photo Glenlarson 18:22, 11 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Temperature

This may just be me being unkowledgeable...but I have a very hard time believing the avg. temperature in January is -8, since I live there. I'd like to see a citation or source on that.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Afterthoughts (talkcontribs) 16:46, May 11, 2007

This is for Banff: weatheroffice, it gives an average temperature for January of -9; Canmore should be pretty close. The sentence should be reworded though (coldest day?).--Qyd 02:58, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What are the people called?

My family have a house in Canmore, and I've been told that people there refer to themselves are "Canmorens." Is this so? I've been unable to confirm. I ask because it sounds like "can morons." I don't know whether they take note of the homonym, whether they care and enjoy the amusing self-deprecation, or other. It seems "Canmorites" would be more sensible, but the Canadian sense of humor keeps me guessing. Jordan 15:59, 5 July 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jordanotto (talkcontribs)

Move discussion in progress

Housing

Section on Wapiti Campground should be removed as it is detracts from the quality of the page (with punctuation errors etc.), is opinion and conjecture, and advertising for whomever is recruiting for that facebook page. If no response, I will delete that paragraph. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.74.160.4 (talk) 18:22, 4 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
