Ferry quay at Ytre Oppedal seen from the ferry MF Svanøy on the Lavik-Oppedal route.

Ytre Oppedal is a village and ferry terminal in Gulen municipality, Sogn og Fjordane. It lies in Oppedalsvika on the south of Sognefjorden, east of Risnefjorden. The buildings and village lie on both sides of the Oppedalselva, which flows directly to the ferry port.

From Ytre Oppedal, European route E39 crosses Sognefjorden via the Lavik-Oppedal ferry route. From the ferry terminal, Fv8 runs to the neighboring village of Indre Oppedal and then east along Sognefjorden.
