A.N.T. Farm is an Disney Channel comedy television series. It was created by Dan Signer, a former writer and co-executive producer of The Suite Life on Deck. In mid-November 2010, the network green-lit a 13-episode order.[1] The series stars China Anne McClain, Sierra McCormick, Jake Short and Stefanie Scott as middle-schoolers in a gifted program at the local high school called the "Advanced Natural Talents" program, or ANT. Production began in early 2011 and the series is scheduled to during the summer.[2] The first promo was released during the premiere of Lemonade Mouth. The pilot episode, "TransplANTed", aired on May 6, 2011 as a special preview of the series.[3]
Cast
- Chyna Sparks (China Anne McClain) is a musically-inclined 11-year old girl who is part of the ANT program in high school. She is the lead character of the series.
- Olive Doyle (Sierra McCormick) is described as a know-it-all. She remembers everything she's heard, seen or read.
- Fletcher Quimby (Jake Short) is an artistic genius. He may have a crush on Olive or Chyna.
- Lexi Reed (Stefanie Scott) is a student at the high school who is the lead in all the musicals, President of student council and head cheerleader. She thinks of Chyna as her competition.
- Cameron Sparks (Carlon Jeffery) is Chyna's brother. He tries to stay away from Chyna and the other ANTs.

Chyna and her ANT (Advanced Natural Talent) friends find out about a school party being hosted by Lexi Reed, one of the big kids. Everything starts to fall apart when Chyna's father finds out she snook out. Chyna, Fletcher, and Olive ruin Lexi's party, causing everyone to turn on Chyna. However, she makes things better by singing 'Dynamite'. When Chyna's father catches them at the party, he almost pulls Chyna out of the ANT program, but she levels it down to three weeks of grounding. |
