Xol, you should check out the web page http://java.sun.com/developer/technicalArticles/ThirdParty/WebCrawler/. It is all about building your own web crawler in Java. At the bottom of the page is a link called "The Web Robot Pages." Clicking on this link brings up a table of contents for access to other related Java/Sun Microsystems sites.
