Charles S. "Chuck" Chestnut IV is a Florida funeral director, life insurance agent and Democratic politician who serves as the Florida House of Representatives representative for District 23.
Chestnut was born on July 27, 1962 in Gainesville. He received an Associate of Science degree in Mortuary Science from Miami-Dade Community College. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Bethune-Cookman College, graduating with honors. He served on the Gainesville City Commission from 2000 to 2006, serving as Mayor Pro Tem from 2003 to 2004, and then again from 2005 to 2006. He was elected to the Florida Legislature in 2006 and then re-elected in 2008. He is married to Tiffany Watts-Chestnut of Gainesville, Florida. They have two children, Ashlie and Charlie.
