The Series revolves mostly around Mexican-American singer Jenni Rivera's Family and their personal lives in their house located in Encino, Los Angeles and Jenni's life as a Recording Artist. The theme song of I Love Jenni is sung by Mexican-American rapper Juan Martinez better known as Down AKA Kilo

Jenni Rivera: Born on July 2, 1969,Mexican-American Mother and Grandmother. She is currently married to former Major League Baseball player Esteban Loaiza and runs a Runs a Real Estate company, A Taco Truck and Many others. She is also starring in a Movie Titled Filly Brown With Lou Diamond Phillips and Edward James Olmos

Chiquis 'Janney' Marin: Born on June 26, 1985, is Jenni's oldest daughter and is her right-hand man she runs The Jenni Rivera Empire and handles everything for Jenni's business. She was sexually molested by her father Trinidad Marin and protested against him in 2006-2007. He is now serving 31 years in prison. She has 4 younger siblings.

Esteban Loaiza: Born on December 31, 1971, is Jenni's Husband and a former Major League Baseball Player and last played for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He dislocated his shoulder pitching in 2008. He proposed to Jenni on January 21, 2010 and Married her on September 8, 2010. He's been offered to play for many teams again but he is unsure if he wants to play or not if it's risking leaving the family.

Jaquie 'Jacqueline' Marin: Born on November 20, 1989, is Jenni's second daughter who is the Mother of Jenni's Grandchild Jaylah. She is working as a Nurse assistant.

Michael 'Trinidad' Marin Jr : Born on September 11, 1991 is Jenni's 1st and oldest son. He is studying to be a barber, and is currently on house arrest for being claimed to have raped a minor (even though he didn't know she was under age)

Johnny 'Juan' Lopez Jr. : Born on February 11, 2001, is Jenni's youngest and second son. His dream is to become a Director, Producer, and a Actor. He makes brickfilm on his free time and posts them on his Youtube account called Acewilber. He also has a twitter called Acewilber1001. He is very adult like. his Father died on July 14, 2009

Jenicka Lopez: Born on October 3, 1997, is Jenni' youngest daughter and Johnny's only full sister. She often doesn't like being on camera and is beyond obsessed with Canadian teen singer Justin Bieber. She and Johnny often don't get along well.
