Marie-Louise O'Donnell is an Irish academic, broadcaster and politician.[1]

From Foxford, County Mayo, she is a lecturer in communications at Dublin City University (DCU). A former actor and theatre administrator she was involved in the setting up of the The Helix theatre on the DCU campus.[2]

In May 2011, she was nominated by the Taoiseach Enda Kenny to the 24th Seanad.[3]
