Brett Emerton (born. 22nd Feburary 1979) is an Australian footballer who currently plays for Blackburn Rovers in England. He is usually a right midfielder but has been known to play as a right wing back. He has previously played for Feyenoord and the Olympic Sharks in Sydney. Currently a member of the national team and was the 2002 Oceania Player of the Year.
