Beit Ras/Capitolias is one of the 10 Decapolis cities on the eastern frontier of the Roman Empire in Judea and Syria. Today the city is known as the village of Beit Ras[1]and is located to the north of the city of Irbid in Jordan.

Archaeology

Recently archaeolgical work has been carried out.[2],[3]
