Success is Certain is the fifth album by rapper Royce da 5'9" and his last independent album, due for release in July 26, 2011. The first single is Writer's Block featuring Eminem, which was released in March 2011. Production for the album will come from DJ Premier, Mr. Porter, Eminem, Nottz, StreetRunner, The Futuristics and The Alchemist among others.[1] Guest appareances includes Eminem, Joe Budden, Yelawolf, Raekwon and Travis Barker.

Background

The first single Writer's Block was released in March 29, which features Eminem and is produced by StreetRunner. Second Place was released as the second single on June 14,[2] after being leaked on June 6. The song is produced by DJ Premier and the album version features Method Man and Raekwon.

The song "My Own Planet" was recorded in early 2010 featuring Big Sean and produced by Mr. Porter, an EP was digitally released in July 20, 2011 featuring two versions and a bonus track featuring Mr. Porter called "I'm Fresh". The Big Sean featured version was released on Street Hop as a deluxe edition bonus track, and the Joe Budden featured version was included to Success is Certain.[3]
